In addition to managing supply bases, we also have over 45 years of extensive experience in designing and building supply bases, each and every one tailored to the local needs of the client and the communities they operate. Quite simply, we can deliver tailored oil and gas supply base services wherever our clients need us. 

Supply base management services include quayside operations, transport management and port management amongst other complementary services that include, but are not limited to, manifesting, critical spares handling and materials management, ships agency and chandlery, waste management, bulk management and materials tracking and technology services. 

Some of our key supply base locations:

Scotland, UK:  ASCO is the largest private operator of shore base facilities in Aberdeen harbour. ASCO manage five shore bases for clients including BP, Shell, Total, ConocoPhillips and Chevron. The ASCO owned and operated Peterhead Offshore Supply Base is the largest dedicated offshore supply base in the world – handling over one million tonnes annually. The facility offers a full services, shore base, warehousing and tubular service.

Norway:  ASCO manages five shorebase facilities in Tananger, Farsund , Kristiansund, Sandnessjoen, and Hammerfest. In addition, in a joint venture with Tschudi Shipping, we operate the ASCO Arctic Base supporting activity in the North of Norway and Russia.

Australia: In 2011, ASCO was awarded the contract to build and operate a Marine Supply Base in Darwin, Australia.  Work on the $110 million base will be completed by the end of 2013.
